Although Phish tickets are no longer available since the band split in 2004, this page gives information about the group, their previous gigs and access to members websites, networks and free downloads, but alas, no Phish tickets.

who or what was Phish ?

Phish

In Brief: Phish was a Burlington, VT-based quartet (guitar, bass, keys & drums), known for intensive composition in over 200 original tunes and extensive improvisation including some 250 or more cover songs. With over 1000 live performances, the band had been around since October 1983, having met in college in Vermont. They have attracted a cultish following of "phans" seeking phish tickets.

Genre? New! Their style was eclectic. Phish allegedly offered something rare in pop - a long, complex and completely different show every night. Musically competent, Phish embraced a broad spectrum of rock, jazz, bluegrass, twentieth century compositional techniques, blissful extended jams, African groove experiments, psychedelic game playing and absolutely amazing moments of free-form guitar ecstasy.

Phish tickets - I think it's all over

Phish were the de facto leaders of the neo-hippie jam band movement until deciding to retire in 2004. On May 25, 2004, Trey Anastasio made an announcement on the official Phish website. All of the band's members agreed that the 2004 summer tour would be their last together. While Phish and Phish tickets maintained their success over the years, they felt it would be best if they ended on a high note. Separately, the band members, including singer/guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, keyboardist Page McConnell and drummer Jon Fishman, may continue to tour. So, alas, there are no more Phish tickets.

Phish are no more !

Members touring on their own

It won't be the first time Phish's members have toured independently. Mike Gordon performed his first-ever solo tour in 2003, a 9-date run in support of Inside In, an album released on Ropeadope Records. Phish tickets contd. The tour kicked off at The Fillmore in San Francisco, and stopped at 8 cities, playing in theatres and clubs before concluding at New York's Irving Plaza. The tour featured a seven piece all-star group handpicked by Gordon that was quite eclectic in its instrumentation, including pedal steel, banjo, trombone, guitar, flute, drums, and tap dancing.Phish tickets contd.

Jon Fishman also toured in 2003, playing drums for The Jazz Mandolin Project, a group whose sounds offer something for everyone, from rock to drum-and-bass and jungle music to plenty of jazz. Trey Anastasio is also no stranger to touring on his own, as he has done so off and on for years.

so .... are there any ex phish tickets available ?

alas, it seems that the answer at present is "no". There are however, several dedicated Phish websites which may keep "phans" up to date. Some of these I have listed below. It would seem that if you register as a member, then regular newletters and offers of Phish related material may come your way, but alas, no phish tickets.
